Dr. Jyoti Mishra
Dr. Jyoti Mishra specializes in computational, cognitive and translational neurosciences, and is the founder of NEATLabs at UCSD. In our discussion, we talked about her background and research initiatives which are on the cutting edge of understanding depression and trauma from a neuroscience perspective. We also spoke about the mental health pandemic affecting teens, and the tools she used to cope with stress and pressure on her journey through medical school.

Bryce Wettstein
Bryce Wettstein is a 2x Olympic skateboarder. At just 20 years of age, Bryce has accumulated an impressive resume, included 6x Team USA member, two-time Olympic finalist, and 2023 Pan American Games bronze medalist. In our discussion, Bryce and I spoke about the mental toughness and maturity required to step on the biggest stage in the world, and how deals with the pressure of competition. We also talked about the motivation required to train with such rigor every single day, and how those lessons benefitted her when was in high school. Dr. Rob Patel

Steve Elias
Steven Elias is a retired Navy SEAL. Mr. Elias spoke in-person at CCA before his retirement about his experience in the military and the mental thoughness required to progress through SEAL training. As one of the most elite soldiers on the planet, Mr. Elias talked about his secrets for staying calm and performing under extreme pressure.
